What a fantastic start to the term we've had! The children have settled in really quickly and every adult who has popped in to see us has commented on what a lovely class we are. I couldn't agree more!
If you would like to speak with me please see me on the playground after school or make an appointment via the school office. I am keen to meet all parents and carers and to have an open door to you.
A few important details:
On Friday 9th November, we had our own remembrance service lead by Mrs Magner. We sang songs that were important to the wars and we also witnessed the laying of the wreaths. Throughout the week, we have learnt different things about Remembrance Day and that it used to be called Armistice Day before World War 2. Mr Lacey played the last post which the flags were lowered and the minute silence was emotional and thoughtful.
