LI – To understand the chronology of events in the Shackleton Expedition

Have a watch of the following clips up until the selected time points:

Next, watch the pre-recorded reading of Shackleton’s journey and make notes of the main parts of the story from The Endurance leaving Plymouth to being crushed in the ice of the Weddell sea.

TASK:

Create a timeline of the events of the journey. At each point note down:

• How the boat will be feeling at each point
• What is going on aboard.
