    We are revisiting the sounds we already know before moving onto the alternative sounds.  It is very important we do our phonics every day. Our lesson today will be continuing to practise blending consonants and reading long vowel sounds.

    Today we are going to be looking at the alternative sound for the 'i' grapheme. Make sure you have a piece of paper and a pencil to write down the words adding in the sound buttons. Practise reading them. Can you think of any more words with the alternative sound?
