Phonics

We are revisiting the sounds we already know before moving onto the alternative sounds.  It is very important we do our phonics every day. Our lesson today will be continuing to practise blending consonants and reading long vowel sounds.

Spellings

Today we are going to look at the alternative sound for the 'e' grapheme. Make sure you have a piece of paper and a pencil at the ready. Write down each word then add the sound buttons and practise reading them. What do you notice? Can you think of any other words that have this alternative sound?

English

Before we carry on with our Dinosaurs and All that Rubbish story, here is Professor Grammar with a reminder about conjunctions

Today we are going to identify and describe the seasons and how they change. 

Watch the video about the seasons. What changes do you notice? Match the pictures to the seasons. Go outside and observe the season.
