Today we are writing expanded noun phrases to describe the Tin Forest.
Year 1 - Label with adjectives to describe the picture.
Year 2 - Write sentences in role as the old man, describing what he has created.
Example: I have created a magnificent, wild forest with steel trees and aluminum animals. In my forest are metallic flowers with smooth, shiny petals and silver leaves bolted on.

As part of our whole school project this week we will be looking at the works of Henri Rousseau and creating a collage in the style of his Jungle painting.
