    Welcome to the last week of term 3.  Not quite the term we hoped for but you have all been amazing and we have seen some fantastic work!  Don’t forget to keep sending in any work you have done, either through your class emails or through Teams.

    Today we’re listening to chapters 34 & 35 of the Phoenix code Read by Mr Hazelby

    Re-write a section of the chapters in the first person, as if you were Cleo or Ryan.  What parts would you have to change?

    Look at the pages of Pharaoh Cleopatra's diary.  Can you spot the key features of a diary?  If you can print the page, it might be helpful to highlight them.

    Key features are: date, writing in first person, Dear Diary, writing emotions, writing in paragraphs, give name of person writing the diary

    Why do you think diaries have these features – what purpose do they serve?
