Friday

We made it to the last day of term!

Still image for this video

Welcome to Friday's daily blog!

Good morning - it's the last day of term! Miss Copley, Miss Flisher and Mr Biddlecombe will be in school planning away for next week's learning today so they'll be no live sessions but plenty for you to be doing with some pre-recorded videos too!

If you haven't completed any assignments from this week, today is your last chance to upload them!

Morning wake up - 15 minutes

9am Joe Wicks Workout or Daily Mile Challenge! Click the images below.

Take up the Daily mile Challenge HERE!

Maths - 50 minutes

We've had a busy last week of term and so today we want to make maths fun, light-hearted and a little more relaxing. Therefore, we are setting you a 'Super-smart snowman challenge!'. Click the picture-link below to have a go!

Spellings

This week we are looking at the -able rule in spellings. Go the spelling page by clicking the image below and then pick either bronze, silver or gold words. Your activity today is on the same page.

English - 50 minutes

This week we will be writing our own adventure narratives based off Shackleton's journey. This is our final day to ensure our writing is as good as it can be! Make sure you check out the English link  below for a poster checklist of things to include and use that to help edit your work to make it the best it can be. Ask somebody else to read it and give you some honest feedback or send it in to your class teacher to respond to!

Wolf-Wilder is now finished! If you've listened to it all then grab your own book for 15 minutes of reading for pleasure. If not, make sure to catch-up on the chapters you missed by following the picture-link below.

Reading

Today and tomorrow we are creating some space for you to complete your STAR reader tests. You should have received an email on yesterday from your class email with your login details and a link to the website. Remember to take your time with these, find a quiet space and the test should last a minimum of 15-20 minutes. If it's quicker than that it could be that you've scored quite low and will have less of a choice of books when you return to school. Good luck, take your time and enjoy!

Click this link below and scroll down for a video from Miss Copley reminding you how to complete your STAR reader tests.

PE

Here is the brand new PE video for this week with Miss Flisher in the snow! Click the image below to head straight to the snow related challenges.
