Lesson 4 worksheet

Week 3 RE:

Miss Copley will do a LIVE TELLS session on Teams at 10am on Monday 18th January to help explain today's task

Focus: making connections and understanding

LI: Explain ways in which Christians put their beliefs into practice and bring freedom and justice to others

Big question for the term: How can following God bring freedom and justice?

Last week we looked at the 10 commandments and thought about what they mean and if they are still relevant today.

Discuss and create a realistic ten ideas for life that will help us to bring more freedom and justice to the world as it currently is.

i.e.

1. wear a mask to protect everyone

2. keep your distance to protect everyone

etc

I wonder:  How do Christians and other faiths seek to bring freedom and justice to the world through their charity work?

Today we will be researching how Christian charities promote freedom and justice:

Consider the following questions:

  • What does the charity do?
  • What is their goal?
  • How do they achieve success?
  • How does this link to the story of Moses and Exodus?
