Week 4: Geography

Focus: Mapping world oceans

LI: Ask and answer geographical questions using research techniques

Question:  How are polar oceans different to other oceans on Earth?

Shackleton would have had to set sail from Portsmouth in the south of the UK and sail south to Antarctica.  On route he would have sailed across the Atlantic Ocean before reaching the Southern Ocean.  How did these oceans change?
