Good morning! Miss Copley, Miss Flisher and Mr Biddlecombe will be in school planning away for next week's learning today so they'll be no live sessions but plenty for you to be doing with some pre-recorded videos too!

Maths - 50 minutes

An arithmetic assignment has been set up for you in Teams as a quiz! This will be in bronze, silver or gold level and it will give you instant feedback on whether you are correct or not! If you are unsure why you are wrong on any question, feel free to email us a picture of your workings out.

The tests are space sensitive so please can you put a space between your answers and any remainders i.e. 123 r1  not 123r1  If your answer matches the answer on the screen but you've not included spaces we will still give you the marks so please don't panic!

This week we are looking at the -able rule in spellings. Go the spelling page by clicking the image below and then pick either bronze, silver or gold words. Your activity today is on the same page.

English

Today you will be writing your full monologue as The Endurance! You can upload this in the 'assignments' tab in Teams when you are complete. Make sure you check out the extra information and resources by clicking on the English icon below and also by searching back through the English icons over the previous days to remind you of what we've learnt. If you've missed any lessons or haven't watched Mr Biddlecombe read the book on Monday, you must do that first!

There will be a prerecorded video of Miss Copley reading the book which you will be able to find on TEAMS tomorrow. You will need to listen up to chapter 8 part 1 to be ready for Monday! Click on the picture-link below!

Reading

Modern Foreign Languages - French

This week, your 'Language nut' login details were sent to you over class emails (if you haven't received these, make sure to re-check your inbox, junk folder and then contact your class teacher). Use these and follow the picture-link below to complete the assignment set for you today. There is an assignments tab on the left-hand side of the screen and it should be live on Friday (not before). Make sure to select 'French'!

PE

Here is the brand new PE video for this week with Miss Flisher and Mr Stevens! Pause the video after the activities to have time to practice them. All you need for this lesson is: appropriate PE kit, some water, 2 pairs of socks and a box or small target. Click the picture below for the lesson!
