Happy Friday everyone! Another week's learning almost done! In science today we're classifying invertebrates, those creatures without a backbone and in English we're finishing our writing about Cleo and Ryan and the interesting situations that have shaped their relationship so far!

Look at the letter order of each word carefully, say the word out loud, hide the word then try and spell it without looking! Try it three times.

Year 4 : The possessive apostrophe
Look at the words and where the apostrophe is: is it before the s or after it?
Write sentences to show the difference between them. Then get an adult to test you by reading the sentences and see if you can put the apostrophes in the correct place!

SPAG: Starting Sentences with a verbs (-ing)
Write out the sentences below and choose the correct verb from the list to start them. What do you notice about each verb?

After reading this week's chapters, add more detail about the things they have done and how this has made their relationship stronger.
How have they shown resilience and friendship? What are their aspirations and how have they tried to reach them?
Don't forget to use subordinate clauses or start your sentences in different ways with verbs, adverbs or adjectives.
