How to use this page:

The first place to look is the Home Learning Daily Blog tab.  Here you will find a detailed description of what we would like you to do that day.  You don't have to do it in the order on the blog, if you want to start with the wider curriculum and do the maths after lunch, that is fine with us.  Try to complete as much of the work as you can. Any other work, such as Maths sheets, Class reading books etc will be under the subject tabs but they will all be linked from the class blog.

When you have completed your work, don't forget you can email it to me at nightingales@archbishopcourtenay.kent.sch.uk so I can celebrate it and mark it to help you move forward.  Once we are on teams I will send you directions as to how to turn in a piece of work there.

Welcome to the Nightingales class page.  As we are not able to be at school together at the moment, we will be posting work for you to complete every day both on here, and eventually on Teams too.  See below for details on both of these. We miss you all and look forward to getting back together again as soon as is safely possible.

Please ensure you have read our online learning policy

From next week, teachers will be setting regular assignments for their classes and these need to be completed and returned within Teams. To help you out we have created a guide to completing assignments in Teams.

LKS2 PE is on a Thursday afternoon and children should come into school dressed in their PE kit - house colour t-shirt, black shorts or black tracksuit bottoms, school jumper or cardigan and trainers.

Welcome to Nightingales!

Wow!  What a week we have had in Nightingales!  We have flown paper airplanes and kites, and drawn birds and planes as part of our 'Air' theme, we have looked at bugs in the allotment and done some digging in readiness to plant some autumn plants, practiced guiding our friends round a course in orienteering and made towers from spaghetti and marshmallows!  What a fantastic week!
