There will be no LIVE teams lesson for English today. However, we have provided you pictures of our amazing school and your task will be to write your own non-chronological report about the school!

 

The features of a non-chronological report:

  • Sub-headings
  • Written in third person
  • Factual information
  • Use of bullet points to organise information
  • An opening and conclusion
  • Technical language and formal tone 

 

This week, you have written some wonderful non-chronological reports about gardens and gardening. Use those skills to help you write a report of our school. The target audience will be someone joining the school for the first time. Will they be able to read your report and feel more settled and confident of their new environment?
