Your task today is to write a diary entry from the point of view of Frank Hurley.  Using the SPaG objectives taught through the live lessons by Miss Flisher yesterday and today, you must make sure that you write in sentences that are grammatically correct.

Remember to include:

  • Capital letters
  • Full stops
  • Commas
  • Main clauses
  • Subordinate clauses
  • Conjunctions (Co-ordinating or subordinating - the Miss Copley's help sheet)
  • High level vocabulary

 

Miss Flisher has emailed over some great diary entries written by the children in the school bubble from yesterday's lesson to give you an idea of the content and quality needed.
