We have two live teaching lessons today. One at 11am about classifying vertebrates and then another Egyptian story at 1pm as well as Nuture Group at 2pm

Now we are going to listen and read chapter 16 and 17 of The Phoenix Code.  Click on the book cover to go to the recording.

 

Now think about facts you have learnt about the Nile from our lesson on Monday and across the week.

Animals that live on the Nile are hippopotamus, geese, fish

Boats travel along the Nile to sell food, tools and jewellery,

Boats are made of reeds

Nile is freshwater not saltwater

People use water for washing and drinking

Think about how you are going to set out your fact file and try and use some of the key features of a non-fiction text: heading, drawing/illustration, labels, subheading, facts, bullet points, questions and answers.
