From Monday 27th April the DFE will be uploading Daily Phonics lessons to support the teaching and learning of phonics at home and in school.

This handy guide is a Letters and Sounds introductory video for parents and carers. In it, Ed Petrie briefly explains the what, why and how of we teach phonics.

I have had some feedback that Swifts are finding the TTRocks very tricky. I have set the times tables practice to 2x, 5x and 10x which are the National Curriculum expectations for Year 1 and added 3x for those who want a challenge as children are expected to know these by the end of KS1. In order to restrict your child's access to the tables set by me they will need to select the GARAGE or the ARENA option to play in.  All other areas test on all the times tables.
